Stress is not always negative; it is normal and has the ability to motivate us and enhance our performance. Stress occurs when pressure exceeds our ability to cope and can lead to exhaustion, anxiety, unpleasant feelings, and hinder our performance.
Stress-related diseases occur when we can't turn off our stress response and when stress becomes chronic. Therefore, learning to manage our stress is key to a healthy body and mind.
